Project overview

Events often arrive in formats calendars cannot understand: a concert flyer, photographed invitation, handwritten agenda, conference schedule or school timetable. Entering every title, date, time and location manually is slow and easy to postpone.

Approach

Photo to Calendar uses Gemini-powered extraction to detect events in a captured image or uploaded PDF. Users review the title, date, time and location, make edits and select only the events they want before anything is saved.

Experience

The app supports multilingual content, custom extraction instructions and Fast or Accurate modes. Approved events sync directly with the device’s default calendar, including Apple Calendar and Google Calendar.
