UPRAISE VR Food Lab
An immersive VR food-lab scenario demonstrating how virtual environments can support training and capacity building around food safety and food-fraud prevention.
Project overview
The first version of the UPRAISE VR Food Lab scenario was demonstrated to showcase the potential of immersive technologies in training and capacity building. Its focus connects the UPRAISE project’s work with food safety and food-fraud prevention.
Approach
The scenario was presented to invited food-sector stakeholders during the EFF-CoP Living Lab at the University of Patras on 29–30 June 2026. The activity also introduced the objectives of the UPRAISE project and supported discussion of innovative approaches to food safety and food-fraud prevention.
Experience
Participants experienced the VR environment directly and shared feedback that will contribute to the solution’s further development and improvement.
